The Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio

Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio offers a reverent Nightingale Tribute.  We present the nurse with a white rose and the family with a Nightingale lamp during the service. We close with a Final Call of Service which releases the nurse from her earthly duties. See our A Tribute Service page

Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio offers a variety of venues for your loved one's final needs.  We are available to open or close calling hours, funeral services, or at the gravesite.  We are available for Celebration of Life services as well.  See our Types Of Tributes page

Currently, Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio is only available in the Ohio Counties of Columbiana, Mahoning, Portage and Trumbull. There are over 250 chapters in 48 states. If your county is not listed please contact here. See our Area of Coverage page

This is no cost for a Nightingale Tribute for a nurse.  The Nurse Honor Guard of Eastern Ohio is a group of volunteer nurses that operate as a non-profit group.  NHGEO is a 501(c)3 non-profit which works strictly on donations.  

You can request a service through your Funeral Director or click on the Contact Us button on our home page.  

A Living tribute is when the nurse being honored is able to participate in her service.  These services are usually for hospice patients or elderly nurses.  We ask that nurses being honored are able to communicate.  Please email us for specific questions. 

We are a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. If you would like to make a donation so we may continue honoring nurses, please let your funeral director know or you can mail a donation to NHGEO P.O. Box 13, Cortland, OH. 44410.  

You must be a nurse in good standing with the state Board of Nursing and have a willing heart.  We need commitment as we cover four (4) counties in Ohio: Trumbull, Mahoning, Portage, and Columbiana.  Please visit our New Recruit Information page
