Mission Statement
The Nurse Honor Guard recognizes those individuals who dedicated their lives to the profession of nursing. The purpose of this organization is to provide comfort to the family and community as they grieve. We hope to inspire others to consider this profession and remind audiences to respect and value nurses throughout the world.
Who We Serve
The Nurse Honor Guard was established to honor these individuals upon their death. The Guard’s presence is a communal reminder of nurses’ dedication and helps grieving families to heal. Members of the Nurse Honor Guard, volunteer registered and licensed practical nurses, believe it is an honor and privilege to participate in a final services for their fellow nurses.
